Jason brings with him a lifetime of automotive repair experience. As a teen, Jason worked on his own cars and went to work for an independent auto shop when he was 20. During the 5 years he worked at that shop, Jason also attended night school for automotive repair.
In 2009, Jason co-bought an auto shop in Ann Arbor, where he developed his business and customer service skills. He sold his portion of that business in 2018 to take the opportunity to move closer to home in order to spend more time with his fiancé, Chelsea, and her son, Tannor.
Jason’s always enjoyed solving problems and working with his hands, making auto repair a natural career choice. He gets great satisfaction from taking care of his customers and providing quality auto care to help them stay safe on the roads. He feels fortunate to own a shop in his local community, and is happy he can now support even more of the local businesses in the Highland area.
Lance joined Automotive Solutions in December of 2018. Prior to that, he worked in oil change shops but wanted to do more. Like Jason, Lance also enjoyed working on his own cars as a teenager. He even tore the motor out of his dad’s truck. Lance has lived in the Highland area his entire life. He enjoys hunting and working on cars.
Like the rest of the crew at Automotive Solutions, Doug enjoyed working on his cars as a teenager. However, he was working with his dad doing carpentry work until his dad retired. At that time, he decided to follow what he loves (working on cars), and joined Automotive Solutions early in 2019.
He is very proud of the work that he’s put into his 2005 Lincoln LS (with a Jaguar 3.9 V8 engine), and his 1979 Chevy Scottsdale (pictured).
